How to Sprint

Hold LeftShift when you need to create distance, cross open streets, or recover from a bad route. Sprint is the most important confirmed movement input, so new players should learn when to spend it and when to save it.

How to Use Shift Lock

Press LeftCTRL to toggle ShiftLock. Use it when camera alignment matters, such as turning around buildings, watching a pursuer while moving, or keeping your path steady through Huss Town Square.

Some pages and videos for similarly named Huss Valley games mention extra controls. Do not assume those controls belong to Escape Huss Valley unless you see them in the current game UI or official description.

Quick Movement Drill

Keep this order in mind during a chase:

1. Use LeftCTRL to keep the camera steady.
2. Hold LeftShift only when you have a clear direction.
3. Release sprint before a tight turn if you keep overshooting the route.
4. Re-enable sprint after the turn to rebuild distance.
